Lab Certified Rudraksha
Every Bambhole Rudraksha is lab tested by GJSPC, an independent laboratory, and each bead has its own unique report number that you can verify on the GJSPC website. Here is what that means, what your report records, and how to check it yourself in about two minutes.
- Lab tested by GJSPCAn independent laboratory in New Delhi X-rays every Bambhole Rudraksha before it reaches you.
- A unique report numberEach bead gets its own one-on-one report with its own number. There are no batch reports.
- Verified by youType the number into gjspc.in/ReportCheck and compare the lab's record with your bead.
Why lab testing matters
A Rudraksha's mukhi count is the number of natural lines running from one end of the bead to the other, and each mukhi corresponds to a seed chamber inside. Extra lines can be carved into the surface, and separate beads can be glued together. From the outside, a skilled fake can look convincing. That is why a certificate only means something when an independent laboratory has looked inside the bead and recorded it in its own database.
Who is GJSPC?
GJSPC is the Gem & Rudraksha Testing Laboratory in New Delhi, a third-party laboratory that is independent of Bambhole. Its reports can be checked on its own website, gjspc.in.
What the X-ray shows
The X-ray shows the inside of the bead. The number of internal chambers should match the number of faces on the surface. Carved lines and joined beads become clearly visible.
What your report records
- Report (document) number and report date
- Weight in carats, and shape
- Dimensions in millimetres
- Colour
- Number of faces (mukhi)
- Origin, for example Nepal or Indonesia
- Whether an X-ray was performed
- Micro-observation notes, such as natural skin texture and fibres
- The final identification, for example "Natural Rudraksha"
A lab report records the laboratory's findings on material, origin and treatment. It does not certify spiritual or astrological results.
How to verify your report
- Find the report number. It is printed on your report card.
- Open gjspc.in/ReportCheck. It is safest to type the address yourself.
- Enter the number exactly as printed and submit.
- Compare identification, weight, dimensions, faces and origin with your bead. The weight should match to two decimal places, which is the hardest detail to fake.
GJSPC notes that its online check may not show every detail printed on the original report; it confirms that the report exists and that its key details match.
Printed report card
Printed report card: free on beads from ₹1,000; ₹150 below that. Every bead is X-ray tested and has a report number either way.
Lifetime money-back authenticity guarantee
If a recognised independent institution or professional finds that a Bambhole product is not authentic, or that its material, natural origin or treatment differs from our description, you receive a full refund of everything you paid, including shipping and return shipping. There is no time limit and no deduction. Email bambholeindia@gmail.com with your order details and the expert's or laboratory's finding.
Touch energisation
Every Rudraksha is touch energised before dispatch: it is thoroughly cleaned, oiled and scented, and blessed with mantra japa and traditional rituals. Pooja and Pran Pratishtha are separate services, performed by pandits at a place of worship, and are not part of touch energisation.
Red flags when buying Rudraksha anywhere
- The report number returns nothing on the laboratory's website.
- The weight or dimensions online do not match the bead.
- The laboratory cannot be found online or has no report check.
- The certificate names the seller as the tester.
- The seller sends a "verification" link instead of letting you visit the lab's site yourself.
Water tests, copper coin tests and milk tests prove nothing either way.
Questions about certification
Is every Bambhole Rudraksha lab tested?
Yes. Every Rudraksha sold by Bambhole is X-ray lab tested by GJSPC, and every bead has its own unique report number.
Are reports issued per bead or per batch?
Per bead. Each report is one-on-one, with its own values and its own report number. Bambhole does not use batch reports.
Where can I verify my report?
On GJSPC's own website: gjspc.in/ReportCheck. Type the address yourself rather than following a link, then enter the report number.
What does the report record?
The report records the laboratory's findings: report number and date, weight, shape, dimensions, colour, number of faces (mukhi), origin, whether an X-ray was performed, micro-observation notes and the final identification, such as "Natural Rudraksha".
Does the report certify spiritual results?
No. A lab report records material, origin and treatment findings. It does not certify spiritual or astrological results.
Is the printed report card free?
The printed report card is free on beads priced ₹1,000 or more and costs ₹150 per bead below that.
What if a report or bead does not check out?
Bambhole's lifetime money-back authenticity guarantee applies. If a recognised independent institution or professional finds a product is not authentic, you get a full refund, including shipping, with no time limit.
Are water, coin or milk tests reliable?
No. Water, copper coin and milk tests prove nothing either way. An X-ray from an independent laboratory is the reliable check.
